NFL final regular season games review

Tom Brady threw two touchdown passes as the Patriots earned a playoff bye. The Pats won 28-0 over rivals Dolphins. The Patriots looked to of moved on from their bad form and the return of their TE Gronk certainly helped them. His return will be a great boost for the playoffs. Stevan Ridley ran for two touchdowns and cemented his place as one of the NFL’s leading RB’s.

The Pats finished 11-5 and were simply too good for the Miami Dolphins. Gronk caught one of the touchdowns and made his return a happy one.

The Broncos went all out to get Peyton Manning, and many said he was “past it” however they can now see they were wrong. Manning carried on his spectacular return by dominating the Chiefs. Manning threw 37 touchdown passes this season. Thomas and Decker both helped the Broncos to their win with touchdowns. The Broncos are now the top-seed, an amazing turn-around compared to last seasons lucky play-off entry. The Chiefs went to 2-14 and it looks like they will be clearing out staff and players in order to rebuild.

The Vikings won 37-34 against the Packers to gain their place in the play-offs. There was many positives for the Vikings and Peterson had many of them, however he fell a few yards short of the all-time rushing record.

Elsewhere there were wins for Tampa Bay, Carolina, Chicago, New York Giants, Colts, Titans, Bengals, Steelers, Bills, 49ers, Seahawks and the Chargers.

There will be several sackings of managers tomorrow and in the near future as the NFL prepares for its play-offs and then a ton of changes before the next season commences. The NFL regular season finishes with the game between the Cowboys and the Redskins with the winner taking their division and entering the play-offs and the loser going home until next season.
